Guys, for the 3rd year running I'm going to host the Belfast Throwdown.
It's been a great event the last two times and we can expect an even bigger turnout this year with QUB BJJ having grown in size tremendously. I've also made some friends in Dublin during my time here and hope to get a few of them up to train and party with us.
I'm thinking July.

So you're in? Start naming dates you can and can't go.
I've messaged the Bullshido UK Throwdown list, anyone who has any mates or knows other bullies who would like to come please g ive them a ping too. I'd really like to get a big turn out for this event.

Its been great the last two times, so I definitely want to make it again this year. Money is a bit of an issue at the mo, as I'm still looking for a new job, but even so, should be good to go later in the year.
Will have to ask gf if she's got any specific dates she fancies (I say this every year, but hopefully she'll come along too, as she's got family in Belfast), but I'd assume September/October. We're thinking of heading to Turkey this year too, as I've meaning to take her there for the past eight years (my family has two houses out there, after all...), but not sure on dates for that yet either.

Heh - don't think she'd be up for that, though there is apparently some BJJ in Istanbul, if I understood that site correctly. Purple belt teaching, who messaged me on Facebook a while back.

I'm keen in theory, will have to investigate the logistics though

Buy plane ticket. Get on plane. Arrive in Belfast. Meet moose + various other bullies. Fight, drink, be merry. Get on plane back to London.
There's the logistics sorted, now just pick a weekend you can do all that.
I'd like to leave this world like I came into it: Screaming, naked & covered in someone else's blood

I'm conditionally interested.
That condition being whether I have a job in July.

Yeah I could go for this. Mobile and earning currently.
