Did a search for this and didn't find anything. Here is an interesting piece of equipment that one of my friends is having installed in his gym. Basically it's a frame for hanging a heavybag that allows the bag to move around as its hit forcing you to constantly adjust to address it. http://www.glideboxx.com/

Unfortunately the footprint of this thing is rather large (to large for my gym at work). I'm definately going to try it out when my friend gets it hooked up.

Sad, I expected this thread to be more erotic.

The obvious implications in the name comepletely escaped me. I must be slipping in my old age.

Dude, have you even seen never back down.

Seriously though it looks pretty cool, although I assume it would be pretty pricey and personally I would rather hit thai pads.

Can you tell us what it's like once you use it?

We have something simiilar in our gym that we use all the time though considerably less flashy - it's basically a garage door opener (with a slight modification to the gear) with a big tear-drop bag hanging off it, to which have been attached three of those long tubular foam things that kids play with in the pool (the name of which escapes me).

One person holds the "open/close" controls and switches it up, while the other hits the bag, trying not to get touched by the tentacles. Three rounds is utterly exhausting.

Edit: is this one motorized, or do you just move it by hitting it?

Awesome piece of equipment if you have the room. IDK if its the owner or just a local rep here in Louisiana but I think its the guy that designed it that lives here. Anyway its great you can set it to work multiple approaches. Its really like having a moving partner that doesn't hit back. The different setups you can do are great and it really breaks the monotony of hitting a regular bag.

Again if you have the room I highly recommend one.
Judo is only gentle for the guy on top.

Looks cool. So how much do these things run? The site doesn't list pricing.

I did see NBD, I thought they just had the bags on a rail, I don't think they actually had this device. Of course I'm frequently wrong about everything (unlike everyone else on the net) so don't mind me.
