    Shut your whore mouth!

It's only impossible to make 2/3 of their music worse.

The other 1/3 it's impossible to make more awesome.

I suppose I should've prefaced that with the fact that I was listening to Loki, God of Fire as I typed it.

What in the holy **** is this, lol?

Your entire post history reads like some sort of malfunctioning robot.

You've inspired me to go sober. I hope you're happy.

    New to Forum

I had to register just so I could post to this forum. I am by no means a Silat Practitioner. The majority of my training is as a wrestler, a mixed martial artist and a Marine. I've always respected Martial Arts and the humble masters who've opened my eyes and allowed me to witness their abilities. I can only repeat what a long time family friend once said, "There is no superior system, just a superior man who makes his system superior by doing what it takes to perfect the basics. Master three moves, and you'll become unstoppable. 1 move 100 times a day for 100 days, then you can start the next one. That's where the discipline lies." No matter where your heart is, this should be a reminder that any system can "beat" another system, it's not about the training, the teacher, the methods, etc.....but the man. Be one.

One thing I would like to add though, and by all means don't think I'm standing up for Silat over BJJ or anything else, but I know a few things some people don't:

I'm going to say this in a very vague way, but if it wasn't for Silat, Bruce Lee would still be alive.....

I've done traditional forms in my youth but was introduced to Brazilian Jui-Jitsu and American Kickboxing and stuck with that. I trained for about 2 months with a Silat Practitioner (before he disappeared) and found his abilities to be absolutely amazing. He trained me for no money, smoked cigarettes and made his own clothing. I regret not being able to continue my training.

One last thing - I have two training (instructional) videos that I needed written permission to view. I still own them and showed a close friend of mine only one time several years ago. These are videos that incorporate both Chinese and Indonesian systems. My friend still mentions these videos to this day regarding the forms and movements. He's a fellow grappler and admits he's never seen something so vicious.

    My sig -
"Before enlightenment, I chopped wood and carried water. After enlightenment, I chopped wood and carried water."

whambam gave me his silat - Bruce Lee death connection. It's in my profile visitors messages, and it's incredibly stupid.
