Chaz is a friggin' character! I've talked to him quite a bit. It's a shame his health issues have taken him out of the game.

Yeah, that's probably not gonna happen. The separation of time zones pretty much assures it.

I have Chaz knowledge only via second hand. But he sounds like an epic-character! The best is when he starts off with "Funny story..." you know it ends with some sucker getting fosse thru a plate-glass window +or-

So, dipshit, riddle me the **** this: do I not care enough to post, or do I not care enough to completely revamp my Silat style for MMA competition, go train my ass off, spending my own time and money and hard work, in order to get into MMA competition, AND use my fractured and bastardized MMA Silat successfully, and THEN videotape it, and THEN break everything down and analyze it & ****...
JUST TO PROVE TO THIS TheMightyMcClaw KID THAT SILAT "DOESN'T SUCK"???

Do you get it now? I DON'T CARE. I don't care enough to rewrite my life just to make someone's unreasonable Internet request happy, & I don't know anyone that does.

    This.

My request was not "Hey, Jim Jude, go beat up GSP while doing Silat."
It was "hey, everyone on Bullshido, if you are inclined to argue that such a thing exists, then show me some Silat which extends beyond mandancing and pointfighting."

Chas quotes are the best. IIRC his advice about being on the ground under a group of opponents was "cut, and if it didn't hurt, it must've belonged to someone else."

Okay, I'll bite. What the heck are you talking about?

To clarify, I know what a penny dreadful is. I'm not getting the rest of the reference though.

Sounds like the only way to resolve this is a Bartitsu vs Silat fight. Cane sword vs long wiggly knife.
