    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Congrats to ATT Black Belt Luigi Mondelli on his 5th Pan-Am Gold medal!!

Huge congrats to Luigi Mondelli! He won his 5th Pan-Am Gold metal, this last one coming in the black belt Masters Ultra Heavy bracket.

Congrats also to everyone that competed, placed or won. I heard the event was awesome. I'll be there next year.

    Cheers,

    Nick

I just found out that three fighters from the Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Austin Association medalled.

Donald Park, who was a brown belt under Royler Gracie when he joined the Austin Association last year and officially fought for Gracie Humaita, won a gold in the men's brown belt, masters, featherweight division. Royler promoted Donald to black belt after his win.

Shama Ko won gold in the women's adult purple featherweight division.

Christy Thomas won 2nd and 3rd in the women's adult brown/black heavy and absolute (not sure which medal for which weigth class yet).

    Edited to add: YEEEHAW!!!

The official Web site doesn't have the results posted yet.

    http://www.ibjjf.org/results.htm

Maybe one of the local papers has the results?

I was hoping for full results of all the matches, not just the division winners....

Yeah, well. IBJJF sure could learn a thing or two about communications.

    Update

It was the women's black belt absolute that Christy won second in.

Brown belt Ana Laura stood out yet again, here in the absolute black belt final, where she beat Chris [sic] Thomas.
