    any one heard of charles warren, founder of kempo-goju?

    this guy is the founder of the system i got my 2nd dan in., i looked him up in emil farkas's encyclopedia of martial arts and niether him or the style is mentioned.
    16 years till retirement.

    Never heard of him by that encyclopedia does not cover all the offshoots off Kempo or Goju. I guess the way to trace him would be to find if he trained in Kempo under Ed Parker or Goju under Peter Urban. If I was in your shoes a call to Peter Urban might get you your answer.

    I've heard of him. I know people who trained under him. I've even seen a video of him winning a national kickboxing championship. He's pretty badass. Here's a link to one of the schools he opened up.

    I guss the guy couldn't think of anything better to call his wannabe new martial art, and he just combined names!

    I think i'll start my own school, and maybe i'll call it kendo-jujutsu. Yhea, that's the ticket!

    hate to bring this thread back, but a lot of Kempo-goju black belts are lame, no ground game, but plenty of arrogance,by my expierence.
