Kimber Guardian Angel

Hi, I was hoping to purchase the Kimber Guardian Angel for my sister. Has anyone had experience with this product?

no good. it says its only for 2 shots. you want to be able to control the shot length, and more then once. id go with a traditional OC spray canister. there are many sizes. just get the biggest one she can fit wherever, and an extra one for her to use on an object so she can at least practice once and see trajectory etc

I've never been a fan of pepper spray or stun guns, but if that's all she'll carry than get whatever she feels comfortable using.

My advice, however, is to look into the kel tec series for her, particularly the PM9 or P32 if the 9mm is too much for her. Nice, small pistols, and I'd trust any one of kel tecs products.

It is a good tool to use to build comfort levels towards effect weapons.

I began by getting my wife some pepper spray.

Except it was pink, so it was "cute" and "less threatening".

That built towards her being comfortable to carry this:

I actually find the Kimber Guardian Angel to be quite nice, if the person you are purchasing for refuses to wear a gun. Although it has but two shots, I have never missed with one (during training) and the splatter pattern is very good. Unlike traditional pepper spray, the Guardian Angel hurls the OC at an amazing speed, while spray mace is known for deviation. The Guardian Angel is designed to incapacitate the attacker long enough for the user to flee. Even better, it's extremely concealable and idiot proof.
