Ok here's the information I have- let me know if I'm wrong....
A $35 registration fee
Fighters show up at 6pm day before the fight to weigh in, register, get tested and inspected
Fighters get two (or three) cornermen
Fighters get Shorts, mouthguard and gloves. Shorts and mouthgaurds get here prior, gloves on site.
Taking video of the fights is highly discouraged and the fights will be televised (on Cox Channel 19, I believe)
Is this correct?
Ok- for a truck load of questions:
How much are tickets? Do fighters get a certain amount for crew?
Short of trying to tape it off of the TV or TiVo, does anybody know if we can get a copy of fights for personal use?
When do we need to get shorts ordered and sizes in?
When and to whom are cornermen declared?
I understand that the ISKA rules may not be the rules (in total) the fighters have to follow- is there an official rule set for the fighters somewhere?
More to come...thanks in advance!
remember if you want a mouthguard you need to contact sport guard international http://www.customguards.com asap so they can get you the mold making kits for the guard. Turn around for the whole thing is about 2 weeks.
We look forward to having everyone and hope you all have a great time!
