    Ruslan Karaev (born May 19, 1983) is a Ossetian kickboxer currently residing in Tokyo, Japan where he was training for some time at Marupro Gym, later moving to Ihara Dojo where he is training full time now.

    In 2005 he took the kickboxing world by a storm winning the K-1 World Grand Prix 2005 Las Vegas tournament. He's loved by the fans for his exciting and explosive fighting style.

    In 2008 he comes back stronger than ever winning K-1 World GP in Taipei, all by KO, and ready to win everything this year.

    Can he name a "turning point" in his training or a fight where he felt that he went from "man training hard at a gym" to "skilled fighter ready to become professional."
