Kimo vs Sapp fight. Sounds like it was fixed!

Was reading the Fightsport mag article on the fight. What a rigged fight!!! What's this crap of Sapp being given this BS two minute time-out after getting stomped on??? Then the ref did nothing when Kimo got KO'ed by punches to the back of the head!!! HUH????

What really convinced me was the Tyson crap that followed. Would of that happened if Kimo won? Smells of an organised publicity stunt which involved Sapp's mandatory victory to make it work.

What was the ref anyway? A WWF dude who is used to being a stage prop??:mad:

It wasn't rigged as in Kimo agreed to lose.
The fight made Sapp and K1 look like an international joke.
They had to give the BS two minute time-out and let him throw illegal punches 'cause he would have lost it otherwise.

I just saw that fight recently, and hated it... I think it was perfectly obvious that it had been decided beforehand that Sapp would win, although I don't know if they had told Kimo about that... He should have won, of course. BTW has anyone noticed that Kimo has started covering up his Jesus tattoos with other stuff...

Yes, it was fixed. A sad day for K-1 fans. This is probably the beginning of the end for any seriousness in K-1. They'll just become another entertainment venue like pro wrestling.

I'm sure Kimo didn't intend to lose. This would have been decided by others outside the ring but Sapp would have been in on it. Imagine the truckload of money they would have driven up to Sapp's camp and the story to get them to agree to Tyson's post-fight antics. "This will be so great for K1!!! Everybody in the world knows Mike Tyson!!! Publicity up the yingyang!!!"

I would have loved it if Kimo won but Tyson didn't realise that Kimo wasn't in on it. Tyson smacked down without anything being said. Kimo's not one of his 'bitches'.

It's just K-1 protecting their darling big boy for a bigger payout later.

Kimo wanted to KO Sapp....pretty obviously. So it wasnt' fixed. Just officials manipulating the rules to help one fighter out.
