Search for Serkan Yilmaz on youtube. He fought in K-1 and did very well. Doubt he would fare well in MMA because he doesn't train ground fighting.

Awesome a 2 month bump to tell us to YouTube a K1 fighter when we're talking about MMA ... awesome.

Your necromancy skills are weak! Quick question: What would happen if I took it upon myself to necro the oldest threads I can find in an hour? Would that be instant perma-ban, or would guarantee myself to be trolled for the remainder of my days?

I'm not going to do it. I'm far too cowardly.

Is really this bad? What happened? And I'll still waiting for that "chosen one" to appear like Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida with Karate-do.
No, i don't think it will ever happen. First of all, most of what tae kwon do is today is an olympic sport, which is using the kick as what an olympic fencer would do, to score points. There is nothing wrong with it. It is quite cool if you look at it as a game, a sport. Second, original tae kwon do looks more like shotokan karate than tae kwon do is today. So, in many ways, tae kwon do already have a chosen one in Lyoto Machida.
