In general all AR-15 parts fit together. That is the neat part of it being a "weapon system". Everything is built to a military standard and all parts should fit together.
I also have been reading the ar15.com forums a lot and bugging my brother-in-law who has done this before.

It looks like you still need a shoulder thing that goes up. Inquire at your local gun shop; they'll have one.
