I'm in Perth training at Spear Dojo in Wangara.
It's more a muay thai/zendokai place than a grappling place, but I am doing the fledgling MMA classes.
Its fairly good, but I do want to do something with a better lineage/instruction, when my contract expires in August.
I might be interested in a throwdown, especially if its north of the river.
Also pyro if I could get more info about this Fight Club place in Osbourne Park that would be good. -

Well im not pyro but
http://www.mach1fitness.com.au/
That is the website they are called Mach1 at the moment the sign out the front still says fight club though. As for lineage/instruction if you go to the news section it has a thing on the BJJ teachers and click Instructors for the rest they haven't updated the instructors page yet so I thought id point that out.
"speedycerciche where do you train Jits?"
Me and Pyro train "Jits" at Mach1 aka fight club where do you train?. I didn't go to the last no-gi comp but I went to the last gi comp.Last edited by speedycerviche; 4/05/2009 7:43am at .

Yea i'd recommend Fight club to anyone that's north of the river for a good gym to train at.
Also as for a venue for the throdown i'm looking at Subiaco community centre which seems promising and is a pretty central location for everyone. As for the date it's yet to be confirmed but as i stated before around mid year so looking at around july or august. -

What are we going to do about matts? Subiaco has polished wooden floors, We would have a tough time rolling on that sort of surface.
Any Ideas? -

I'm sorry about the long delay but i'm currently trying to book the uwa judo hall since it's already a matted area and is a much better location then subiaco. The guy inc harge of rentiing out the hall at UWA is taking a very long time to replying to me as i have called him in mid april and called him quite a few times after that and left him multiple messages. I've booked it for a sunday in july but exact date is not confirmed and i'll keep everyone up ot date with the details.

I really do apologize for letting this thread die down the uni wasn't getting back to me but i have managed to get a venue for a TD at altone park leisure center on the 12th of july.
I need to know who is able to make it on that date if not i can change it to a later date perhaps.
