POSSIBLY THE BEST ANSWER TO A STUPID QUESTION -- EVER

Liberal Newscaster Katie Couric, while interviewing a Marine sniper, asked:
'What do you feel.....when you shoot a Terrorist?'

The Marine shrugged and replied, "A Slight Recoil."

Because the joke's structure reeks of "Hurr hurr Love It Or Leave It hurr hurr Towelheads hurr hurr Faggoty Ass Bleeding Heart Liberals hurr hurr Bill O'Reilly!".

It's not just an unfunny joke, it's pretty clearly designed to play off and reinforce that kinda mindset.

But it's okay, I don't hold it against you, you're just fulfilling the same role as the annoying relative or coworker who forwards unfunny collections of costumed pets twice a week. You didn't come up with it yourself, you're just kinda redistributing the oversimplified comedic sludge that is easy to remember and repeat. People like you are why Snopes exists.

WOW, since you put it that way...........

Yes I did redistribute it, it was not my original idea. So?

No it is not real.

What is real (either now or in the past) are attempts by the media in general (notice I did not say liberal media) to get the service member in question to say some vague, cave-man grunt about "hurr hurr rag heads hurr hurr and to stereotype them as knuckle dragging idiots.

What I got out of it (even though it is not real) is that the Marine in question did not spend alot of time philosophiezing(s/p?) about his job; he did what he was supposed to do, just like the proffessional he is and went on with his life.

I have not AFAIK in all my time in two branches of the Armed Forces ever personally known or talked with a sniper first hand, all of my information comes from second party sources in the form of senior NCO's who did.
