1) read the thread.Ummm...you're asking about the whole state of NY...including NYC.
Do you want to narrow it down a bit, or should we just recommend any good school in North America?
2) how the **** is everywhere in NY state near a SUNY school? Obviously if I am asking I mean commuting distance away. -

CNY MMA is solid. Not ZOMG amazing, but solid.
Brockport has an amazing Judo club. Be a man do Judo.
Albany has several MMA/BJJ gyms.
