Kid, what is the heaviest weight for a pro thai boxer? The reason I ask is because going to thailand to train after I get a few years of muay thai under my belt sounds like alot of fun and a great way to improve, but I am currently 200 and could not fight under 170 without cutting off a leg. So I dont want to get there just to fight a janitor

I don't really know. I remember the heaviest weight class at Lumpini was something like 145lbs.

70kg is pretty much the top of the competitive weight classes in Thailand.

There are plenty of westerners training in Thailand. I'm pretty sure if you went to a legit camp and worked your arse off, they'd get you a decent match.

yeah...but damn my well nourished through childhood frame, now I can never fight a thai if and when I ever get the money/experience to go to thailand!
