Wow, this rocks so much ass. It's an old 8 bit Nintendo Vietnam War (Platoon) game. It's kind of like The Goonies 2 but with less platforms, and more dudes with guns jumping out of the trees at you. Your guy looks like he's carrying a M1 carbine or M14 or something. Uh, the actually sucks by today's standards, but I think it was more OK back in the 80s.

I actually really like that one. Keeps you on your toes and is about as "realistic" as 8-bit is going to get, given that you can die suddenly at a moment's notice for a second of inattention.
