    Thanks for the props Guy. I would not have posted this myself. It was a suprise and honor for me. I had to fight three guys...I won all three matches (thankfully). 2 subs and a throw. I did not know why at the time...I thought I was just sparring for training. It was all pretty low key. I had also been teaching a daily class at the training center. Then, quietly the next day, I was awarded the title by the FKE board for contributions to the sport, technical skill, etc. I also presided over the combat sambo tournament at the military academy and got to teach there a bit as well. But, that was for the cameras I suspect. Cool either way though.

    always, but then again, there is no "T-Ball" in Russia.

    AFAIK, its been a long time since an American was awarded a Russian MoS. Pretty huge stuff there Steve, nicely done!
