[frantically looks over his shoulder around the room and attempts to hide his used tissues]
I'll be checking under my bed tonight. But now it'll for astral Ninjas as well as the usual fairies and cookie monsters.
On a slightly more serious note; What mountainous in particular I feel is missing is any sense of normal proportionate humility at all. Like his combat playtime vid posted on memorial day. What was he thinking? How does he not feel even a little bit of embarrassment at that smooth move?
Or indeed look at his showing off of his semi non-existent unarmed combat skills; On one search search string on youtube one of his pad sessions lies right before one given by Chuck Lidell's thai coach. I'd have to assume that his seen either that one or some other vid of an actual fighter training real fighting techniques/fighting for real.
When I watch such vids I feel not only a certain sense of awe and respect for the skill of those involved but it also makes me very cautious of the posting up of any of my own **** because basically it doesn't compare. I wouldn't think that there wouldn't be too many interested in my performances (unless it was of course to flame) But this guy keeps belting away...
In many ways I'm impressed with his arrogance.
So many TMAs in particular demand a certain amount of respect and sensitivity for others (memorial day douchebaggery) and indeed at least a certain amount of humility. This guy wants to show off his inept skills to half the planet and then has the termity to call himself an expert in the martial arts. Plural.
Like he's just so into the spiritual side of this stuff with himself and his flute playing up the side of the mountain and yet so wide of the mark as to the real meaning of absolutely anything he's attempting to do.
Is he actually mental?
Like is this some kind of proper delusion/syndrome?
Like Napoleonic syndrome?

Many have wonderede that before. I think WK's earlier comments are on the dot.
The guy may be an arrogant douche, or he may simply have aspergers. Either way, he has a job to support his hobby. That is, as long as he steers clear of firearms. It's a disturbing new trend of his.
(That is not to say that what the man does is not douche-baggery. It's simply not the worst of what we have seen in the history of youtube ninjery.)

i have been having a long conversation with him on youtube about his budding firearms hobby.
he's getting more guns in a couple of months. i have encouraged him to join the NRA and check out the winchester marksmanship program, but so far i think he's just relying on family to help him learn to shoot.
hopefully he doesn't shoot his dick off, or anybody else's for that matter

that's how my dad taught me gun safety.
he told me that guns will shoot your dick off. i didn't know what my dick was for, but i knew it kept me from being a girl, so i have always been safe with firearms.
jason is a fan of putting bloopers up on his videos. i wonder if he would broadcast a negligent discharge when (not if) it happens.

Obviously I'm new to Bullshido but one of the first threads I found was this one. Holy crap! I am both intrigued and completely confused by Mountainous Ninja. Apparently I have fallen victim to his Ninja Mind Control.
I spent a few hours watching his videos, they were like car wrecks and I couldn't stop. While watching I was trying to figure out what his deal is between fits of laughter...
Here is my assessment (I work in the Developmental Disability field):
He is painfully socially inept. Note the lack of friends. His speech is somewhat flat. No real eye contact when there is an actual human with him, only with the camera. He is obsessed with being a Ninja. The training is static routine which folks on the spectrum require (change in routine and transitions give ASD folks fits). Routine allows them to feel in control over their environment. OCD like symptoms are prevalent with Aspergers, also ADD/ADHD. The armor and outfits may make him feel secure because of the sensory issues involved with ASD. He, for the most part, relates to people only through his video camera.
If not Aspergers then I'd say Persistant Developmental Disorder NOS (Not Otherwise Specified).
Of course he could just be a total douche bag. In any case this dude is totally awesome and God Bless Bullshido for providing me with hours of entertainment.
I'm not far from Mt. Hood and really want to try and go "train" with him.
