I work/travel in East Asia. Depending on the wording, some of my humor is taken seriously and they think I'm being a jerk ~ with some of the more obscure stuff, they just think I'm weird. If they are not going to get it anyway, I prefer the second alternative (since the first occurs with rank, by default).

I rather like the Cthulhu/Mum-Ra idea, some of my colleagues might find that amusing.

I used to have "All your base are belong to us," in my signature on certain Emails as well - until a Japanese guy went off about how we Americans think we own the world. I don't think I ever succeeded in convincing him that the phrase actually originated in Japan (sort-of).

Folks like that just need to get down with the latest inter-web movie-films!

Fire safety is needed.
He had all those sticks hanging over the ring and then he put hot coals outside the ring to cook on.
I was waiting for his gloves to melt in the fire as well, they don't look fire retardant.

You gotta hand it to the man.

Ooh, I see. Rambo saw his son's tube account and felt deeply ashamed that his loins ever produced someting like Mountainous. That's why he went hiding in Burma.

But they do keep in touch via mail, seeing how he sends Jason a new gun every now and then.
