looking fo ar 15 mags, in Canada

i have called all over the place and everyone is out, and the mags are on back order. Does anyone want to sell some or know of anyone or place to get them. I live in Fort st john, BC, thanks

Same problem I am having in the US everything is in such high demand right now that the manufactures cannot keep up. I went so far as to drive up to the P-mag factory here in colorado to see if I could get some. No dice. Good luck

30 round magazines are illegal in Canada.

Find someone in the army who 'forgot them in their pockets' or smuggle them in from the US.

I haven't confirmed it but I have heard ar 15 mags (30 round ones) are legal so long as the seperated. Spring away from mag housing. I'm not 100% sure thats true or not bt that show I store them

we can only have 30rd mags if they are pinned for 5rds, i would love to get my hands on some 30rounders, but they are illegal, so i am looking for 5rounders, thanks

I don't know about shipping to Canada. Maybe have someone in the States order for you?

These were made for the Canadian Government but never used. They were on back order but I got notice that they are shipping on Monday, March 2nd. The price is right (for the quality) especially if you join their discount program.

Yes as long as a magazine is pinned to the legal limit you can have a 30 round mag.
It doesn't have to be perminate. (however the **** that's spelt).

I have a wooden stick/dowel in my shotgun's magazine limiting it to 2 rounds, it takes me 10 seconds to remove it and capable of (illegally) storing 7.
For my mini-14 mags I just used a bolt and nut.

Side note: Many police officers know jack **** about firearms/gun control rules. Conservation officers know marginally more. If you're going to us home-pinned magazines I recommend you go to the RCMP website and familiarize you're self with the rules and restrictions around magazine capacities and even print it off. I had to do that for my 12guage when a police officer thought I illegally modified an 870 to carry more than the 2 round limit - when their actually sold like that over the counter.
