Holy ****!!! one pair of hard arsed dudes. Kickin each others (lower?) legs with steel caps, laid open to the bone?? no skin left on areas??.
Don't know about it being an effective fighting style but bloody hell!! lol, think of the pre-fight conditioning!!
oh,and i look forward to many more interesting reads in this forum. WMA's seems to be a relatively forgotten (?) subject.Last edited by KiwiPhil889; 2/19/2009 1:57am at .

So leg boxing. Does anybody practice this kind of thing today? Maybe without the copper and the shoes or something? It sounds like it could be an intricate discipline from the sound of the commentator.

Indeed, this forum has been needed for a long time. There are a lot of wonders of ¿hand? to ¿hand? combat that our forefathers practiced and forgot. Clearly with less mystical BS than in the east. -

A somewhat milder (non-professional) form of purring is still practiced at the "Cotswold Olympicks", which is a traditional sports festival in England:

Would depend on the conditions of the match. Was watching some youtube clips on it and the amateur matches went until one of the ppl was thrown to the ground. I would guess the diff is something like the diff between a Professional Muay Thai match vs an Amateur one??
Oh,and as a side note?? one of the clips mentioned Shin Kicking as being one method of determining would got the girl lol. If 2 (or more) guys were wanting the same woman?? they shin kicked to see who got to keep her lmao!!. -
