All of the classic works by him have been reprinted by Palidan Press.

They are very good and worth looking at. Same with "The Close combat files of Col. Rex Applegate.

"Get Tough" is a must have. So is "KOGK". Styer's "Cold Steel" is my favorite.

79 bucks! I picked up a modern reprint like 10 years ago at a used book store for like 8. I also have Cold Steel's Shangai Shadow, which is a modern take on the smatchet. Not a bad knife for 25 smackers.

It's too small to do what Fairbairn wanted the smatchet to do, but it is the right shape. Bolker makes the full size item.
