Those foam-core sticks are actually pretty weak. I've broken them before.



How did you get the tires to stay up on the 2x4?

I cut 2x4 shaped holes through the top and bottom of each tire and ran the 2x4 through the middle. To start the 2x4 shaped hole i drew out a 2x4 shaped outline on the tire. Then I drilled 2 holes at opposite ends of a 2x4 shaped rectangle, with a 3/4" step bit big enough to fit a sawsall blade through, then I cut the hole into a square shape. The steel belting in the tires was a bitch to cut through but it worked. I'll try and post some closer up pictures to give a better idea of how I did this.

The final product turned out just the way I wanted. I use it almost everyday.
