I'm still getting over my knee injury from the Austin Bonenkai Spar-BQ, but am willing to do some light training. I did some jitz this last Saturday for the first time since the December TD in Austin and only tweaked my knee once. Of course, I really made it angry yesterday climbing into the bed of my truck while doing some work & hunting out on my father-in-law's ranch. It's always those weird unexpected things like that that hurt the most.

Anyways, let me know when and where and I'll make the drive up.

KidMiracleman is in the DFW area and David Koresh Jr. is down in Waco, so there should be a few more Bullies chiming in here in a bit.

Well I'm leaving the workout up in the air. I'm not in the area so I wouldn't be in a place to organize it and right now I'm nursing a few injuries.

So, no place in mind? I'll check at Hill College in Hillsboro (45 min to an hour from Dallas) to see what is available, but I'm not sure about the availability of mats.

UPDATE - Hill College may be a go. If not, I have a backup in Hillsboro at the gym my cousin's wife goes to. I need to check with facilities management at HC. We have mats, too. They may be in a separate building (they were purchased for a gymnastics that hasn't been offered in a few years) so would require transport. Since I have a truck and y'all have muscles, that shouldn't be a problem, though.

The head of the athletics department at Hill College is going to look into availability for the little gym on campus, which is used by student orgs. It doesn't appear then that the college will have any problems with us using this space if it's available. He needs to know times though, so that he can check the schedule and reserve a time for us.

Omega, since you are the one who probably has the tightest schedule because of your travel plans, what times work best for you? Keep in mind, that Hillsboro is about a one hour drive from Dallas.

    EDITED to add:

On a side note, I aggravated my knee on Sunday climbing into the back of my truck and it has felt like crap all week, so I don't know how much training I'll be good for. I did jiu jitsu with the Baylor crew on Saturday and only had one real twinge the whole time, then on Sunday I jack myself up just climbing into the back of my truck to put some tools away in the tool box. Go figure.
