Hahaha... Damn, there are so many fuckin options, and they all sound great.

Both Clarendon and Courthouse are really close by, so it wouldn't be too hard to get to either of them... and the Georgetown Judo club also sounds pretty awesome... but I also want to get my club started, so I don't know what I can do... Is it possible that I could try and get an instructor from one of these places for the University? Or should I try and find somewhere else... But I'm also interested in joining one of those gyms as well... damn

Neither of those locations, however, is technically in DC and i'm one of the most experienced grapplers there.
Heck, for that matter as long as you're in Alexandria, you could come to my apartment and train MT in my basement for $20/session with me (Shadowdean trains with us). I live 1 mile for the Alexandria LA Boxing location. Hell, that's my go-to Starbucks on the weekend.

The Braddock Road Metro is located between my apartment and LA Boxing. It's just over a 1/2 mile to my apartment from the Metro (about .7 miles), and about .3 miles to LA Boxing.

hit me up at: brooks@khunkao.com if you wanna swing by to train in my basement or come to Jeff Ruth's place in Arlington.

AAAALLLLSOOOO, the American University Wrestling club is the cheapest option around. Period. $50/year. There is no formal instruction, but everybody is super friendly and willing to teach people stuff. You get people from all sorts of backgrounds there.
