Not true, friendo! Captain America made his first published appearance in Captain America Comics #1, which was released in December 1940 (although dated March 1941).

Sarcastro, I'm sorry, but I don't believe that you own a copy of this book and won't believe it unless you scan it and include yourself holding it in the picture. This comic is too rare...

I have an FF# 48 ( 1st Silver Surfer) but its only in GD+.

1. It currently resides in my bank in a security deposit box that's got insurance on it along with any of my books that are worth $1000+. I'm not taking it out for a photograph, sorry. I'm just testing the waters here. I know it seems kind of out there, but You have to understand my collection is worth something like $75,000. Not full grade price, but what I assume I could get at an auction for it. If it were the full graded price on the penny, it'd be closer to $300kish. I've been throwing the idea of selling it back and forth because I don't really like the FF, and it's not that big of a deal for me to have. All but 5 or 6 of my books are NM. Some of them are still in the same bags that they were put in in the 60's. -
