Matt Thornton: Words of Wisdom. A.K.A How to Train Martial Arts
I decided to post these here for any noobs who might do some lurking on the sight as a chance to let them understand what the accepted mentality is behind most posters, and also so they can understand to a better extent as to why this website was created;
To help stop the spread of bullshit training in the martial arts.
The following videos are cut from a series of instructional videos by Matt Thornton and the Straight Blast Gym, so all the credit goes to them.
If this has been posted before, I apologize, as I did use the search function and no results came up.

"So in short, BJJ wins again. BJJ, and chainmail." - TheMightyMcClaw

"Eventually, I realized it doesn't matter what art you train, what matters is the method in which you train. Training in an alive manner, under skilled and qualified instruction, is the single most important aspect of gaining martial skill. All else is window dressing." - JNP : Saying it how it is!
