This is the investigative forum, there are other ways to advertize your merchandise and other places to get your post count up to lose the NOOB header.

Do you have anything conclusive to add to the investigation?

    Interesting

Ok, So 2014 and we still waiting...

But here are a few nice updates on the whole PC thing:

1: Massive website overhaul. Now it states:

"... we teach HYBRID MARTIAL ARTS. Our STAND UP/STRIKING program includes advanced tuition in BOXING, KICKBOXING & MUAY THAI. From there we move to ADVANCED “SHOOTING” (The art of Takedown’s) where after we incorporate only the best and most effective GRAPPLING & GROUND COMBAT Techniques utilising SELECTIVE JU-JITSU styles, RUSSIAN SAMBO & Specialised Techniques designed by & Unique to the Academy..."

    2. Paul caves credentials as per diploma's early 2014:
    7th Dan - ISKA
    7th Dan - WAKO
    5th Dan - Goju

Further than that there is no mention of BJJ anymore that I can see on their website.

    More to follow soon...

Agreed, however to play devil's advocate for a moment, no one ever walks into a MMA gym and asks to see the instructors qualifications. I'm not even sure there is such a thing as MMA qualifications, yet most of us has an MMA gym in their town.

I've asked what an MMA instructor's qualifications are: who did you train with? What ranks did you achieve? Do you have a fight record?

Obviously if they say "I have a 2nd degree black belt in MMA," turn around and walk out. If it's more like "my initial training was in Muay Thai, but I also have a BJJ brown belt, and my fight record is 4-0-1," then you might be more tempted to stay.

Devil's advocate? Dude unless it is a shitty MMA gym, most advertise their qualifications, their fighters, their teachers, their competition record and their fighters records on their website, on their office wall and all over the gym. Also to add, most tell you upfront all of these things as well. Yes, no different than the tMA or questionable crowd. The big difference is you can actually go home and research them if you so choose.
