    Hell yeah! Hell no!
I've sent beef jerky and wet wipes to my cousin that was in 3/5 a couple of years ago. I sent some nice toilet paper too, because I remembered what it was like wiping my ass with the wax paper the USMC supplies. I would think that Copenhagen would be highly sought after, but I always liked Redman myself. I'm not too sure the Brits are used to chewing or dipping. Either way, it'd be good to send it because they can trade with it.

If porn is outlawed, and they are Brits....send a Nigella Lawson cookbook.

In the US, i believe, you can send packages free to any soldier currently on base or deployed. I'll look into it next time I'm at the post office.

It's not free. I sent a package to my wife when she got deployed to Qatar, but it was relatively inexpensive.

Sending from the US to APO or FPO address is same as regular in country shipping rates.

To Iraq for a bully this year, approximately 3lbs airfreight was about US $13.

Russ - from Canada it should be your regular shipping rate.

You want to send a package, PM me and we'll get together for one of yours. I already have a shopping list.

I'll send you the money - you purchase from the funds, add anything you want and send to the member at your regular rate. This gets the member currently living in the sandbox more goodies (bang) for our buck. In our case (US/Canada) the cost is not that much if sent by land or air to the members unit address as the home country picks up the bill for the overseas shipping.

Maybe we call ourselves BS Bullies (see link below for my inspiration) only we are global, with 30k + members (not including the peacenicks, aikidoka (of which I am one) and other assorted people who do not conceive the joy of a service member receiving something from home.

    http://www.bluestarmothers.org/mc/page.do

People, where it get's expensive is if US ships to Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, etc to a member from the service of another country or / vice a versa. If we can establish a way of working here, we can sponsor a member per your choice.

Think the guy/gal is a prick, let them eat MREs. Like the contributions they've made in the past, or better yet, just admire the sacrifice they're making, send a PM.

    Mods - any suggestions?

    Joe

I think it'd be a great idea to work out something for Bullshido Military Members, and would be more then happy to contribute funds to this project.

PROOF that I'm not a completely useless poster:

    So far in the works:

    Mohammed Jihad (England)
    GuiltySpark (Canada)

PM them personally for deployment details if you'd like to contribute.

If you know of anyone else, or you're a bully currently on deployment, feel free to add.

    B-U-M-P

Just for info purposes, parcels under 2kg can be sent FREE from UK Post Offices to certain places where our Forces are, provided you have the correct info.

Check with your local P.O. to make sure the place your parcel is going to qualifies for the free postage, and what info to put on the label.
(I made an OPSEC faux pas by putting too much info on the label and had to cover up the location...)
