I'm hungry! Need help now!
I ate a lighter than normal lunch today. It is now 5:00 i have to train BJJ at 7:30. what do I eat that will give me energy not make me feel too full at practice and not make me feel guilty!? Additionally I eat my regular dinner after practice around 10pm. Also, I can't go home and cook I'm leaving from work.
Need help fast!
PS I made this thread because I'm betting I'm not the only one that periodically makes this mistake.

I eat Power Bars personally. They are quick and have about 44g of carbs and between 240-300 calories.

Nutralife also makes one that is called vanilla pretzel sounds bad yet may be the best tasting energy bar I've ever had.

Almost anything with complex carbs and not too much salt. A couple of pieces of good bread even.

I like to eat a banana wrapped in a slice of wholemeal bread before training.

Premade protein shake from grocery store, or Clif Bar.
Banana is awesome. Add your favorite edible non-human nuts, some water to ameliorate the salt, and you're set.
Good thread idea. Under-pressure edibles before training is a problem I've had ever since I've started juggling a real programming job and judo/karate.

These are too heavy for me to eat before training, but I luuuuvvvveeee the Clif Builder's Bars.

A bagel with cream cheese is actually a pretty good mix of carbs, protein, and fat that will stay down through an intense training session.Calm down, it's only ones and zeros.
