The issue is that people do not use it correctly, the drug was not ment to be used prior to a workout it was a way to key up the metabolisim without exercise. Take it the heart rate peaks and the blood flows faster, add the same result from excersise and the result has been enough heart attacks and strokes and such to cuase concern. Also add the drinks like red bull to the mix and it is more a dumbass issue than a product issue. I do not see why these drugs are needed eat right , workout hard and learn to push yourself.

It's effective for fatloss and people were buying it and getting results from it instead of spending that money on the pharmaceutical companies mostly ineffective anti-obesity drugs. Of course they were going to ban it, it's a multi billion dollar market and ephedra was competing against the interests of one of the most powerful special interest groups around. Just like testosterone used to be bad but is now getting a positive spin because they see a huge market with aging baby boomers. It's always about the money.

i hate this news. ephedra is very good if used right. i've used it and DIDN"T like it, mainly cuz i was already cut i used it for pre-workout energy. i later relied on natural strength. hwoever, i believe a lot of ppl would like ephedra's effects.
god i hate bush. 100 deaths is NOT a lot for a drug so strong as this one.
