Maestro Rossato and his youtube shenanigans

So surfing youtube looking for quality video instruction and I found this little gem:

YouTube - jujitsu con il maestro Rossato - lotta a terra

I take the liberty of posting a comment on the vdeo and he responds with a lovely insult about me being a car salesman, so I told him I would post all of his videos for peer review on this site. He has a wonderful profile with all sorts of secret d34dlys, I am going back to post the link to this thread as soon as I am done posting. If there are any fluent Italian speakers in the house a little translation would be nice.

Here is a link to his youtube profile

(edit: so I google translated some of them...oh the lulz)

WTF was he doing there at first? was that supposed to be a defense for an attempted scissor sweep or something? Since moving head out of the way, is all one would have to do to avoid that half ass choke attempt, I'm assuming he was performing an oil check with the other hand. I can see no other reason why the guy on bottom would tap.

I am not good a the grappling thing, yet, but he looks like he is setting himself up for a triangle with the stuff at the end.
Sometimes you lose and sometimes the other guy wins.

At this point I don't owe anybody an explenation.

    Schools I trained at:
Lotus Club Cetepe Liberdade Sao Paulo

To be generous, he has a great technique there for defending against a halfhearted attempt from a brainwashed uke to perform a poor collar choke from a bad guard.

The failure here is that he thinks he can make up techniques about a situation that he has never worked on. That's like me teaching a class on Google Android, since I learned C++ in college.

    haha! that was cute!

Yeah the point is lost on me.... Towards what end, assuming (pardon the leap of faith) one could do that to someone... why? So you could let them brain you with a kick to the head after they tried to choke you? I don't usually critique videos but that was inspiring in the wrong way.

What form of grappling is this supposed to be? Or, more correctly, what art is he supposedly practicing there?
