    D.C area throwdown in March

Ok, this is still in the developing stages, but me with some of the guys on the sherdog.com grappling forum are looking into putting on a serious throwdown in March. I have proposed the 21 and/or the 22nd as possible dates. I think we are looking at sites in NOVA. Anybody down?

Ok, EDIT, we are now looking at the first weekend in Feb!

I'm definitely down. I'll probably get choked out all day but hey.

Here's my thoughts from yesterday's TD

    1) Synergy MMA is a great place, with a very nice facility, excellent coaches and great students. If I lived closer than an hour away (in good traffic) I'd definitely train there.

    2) It being my first real roll BJJ style I've discovered that I can hang on the ground! Provided I'm rolling with a white belt who I outweigh by 40+ pounds, other than that I got murdered. Definitely need to train up on the ground more.

    3) Was a great experience, thanks to all who showed up and choked me out.
