Ninja- please explain why it is that you think Anna can't fight, and please provide evidence of your superiority.

I remember back when we could pull in trolls that actually cared about their work, is this all we merit now?

Man, I was just trying to chastise her for what I thought to be inappropriate appeal to fighting record. (Yeah, in hindsight I did sound butthurt.)

But she can clearly fight like hell.

    Terrible troll is terrible.

Sorry to interrupt the troll, but I want to loop back to pressure testing. From post 247 or so...

Aren't we between a rock and a hard place? What are our choices for a fair pressure test?
    1) full contact bare knuckle bouts lasting hours?
    2) point sparring?
    3) LARPing?
    4) or just forget it?

I don't know anyone who is willing to fight hours of full-contact, bare knuckle boxing under LPR rules for no reward other than satisfying academic curiosity, but we do already have extensive blow-by-blow records of hundreds of BKB fights, and dozens of detailed instruction manuals from the period as well.

The pressure-testing in this case is to provide modern data for comparison with the 19th century information. Taken seriously and with the obvious compromises for safety (headgear and mouth protectors, small gloves) even recreational sparring in this style easily demonstrates the whys and wherefores of LPR boxing.
