I may have missed it, but if it doesn't exist already, would it be possible to set up some guidelines for posting videos to be evaluated? If it does exist, then maybe we could have a sticky?

Personally, I think it is a waste of time, since the best answers to these threads are always "ask your coach". Most of the time, the person posting the vid doesn't listen anyway.

An idea that may work is to only post single technique videos, then after advice is given, post another video to show if the advice sticks. That way we can actually help, instead of just insulting the OP.

To make sure they're serious about training, make them write a 5 page essay on the technique they want help on.

Actually it is a fair point. I've been thinking of nuking almost every video thread I've seen in the last 6 months.

I'd be happy to write a sticky. Lets hash out the guidelines in here then I'll write the stuicky and lock this thread.

guidelines:
1) Be specific.
BAD: Hey look at my bag work.
GOOD: Look at these 30 right round kicks from 3 different angles and help me tweak it for more speed.

Hey, I'm not getting out of hand and saying people shouldn't be insulted. That's the Bullshido way, and its great!

We should have a definition of what is specific. How many techniques, how many attributes, so on...
