    Hell yeah! Hell no!
I have a hard time telling if I'm actually hungry or just have heartburn, so I typically either grab myself a sandwich or some tums. At least, when it comes to food.

When it comes to delicious, wonderful beer, my hunger is as obvious and as endless as the Pacific, and just as insatiable. Which is one reason why I'm so damn fat.

Does anyone knows of it is also true about yellow/white grapefruit (that it burns more calories to digest than it delivers).

My dietist said that I had to eat one everyday as breakfest (the acid would also shrink my stomach so that I wouldn't be hungry very fast on the day).

I can get cranky when I'm relly hungry, but with me the problem is that I never feel like my hunger has stopped. So I eat small calculated portions or I would eat myself to death.

I eat whenever, but try to keep the snacking relatively healthy.

Putting on weight has always been hard, even with a high calorie diet and religious weight lifting.

I finally gave up a couple of decades ago and just decided to be thin.

Then again, I probably have worms.

I barely experience it except for post-training urges to eat everything in sight. I realise now i was probably anorexic through school when i was only eating breakfast and dinner but it wasn't through the usual reasons i just couldn't be bothered eating.

Getting on to the 6 meals a day program was one of the best decisions i've made in my life i recon.

I'm with you on this one. I would eat it despite it being so offensive to me but then I found Fage. Greek yogurt. It doesn't taste nearly as bad and has pretty comparable nutrition.

Well, strength is more an issue of CNS efficiency. My point is, if you're trying to lose weight, you want to lose fat (as you stated), not muscle, as such, you want to minimize muscular catabolism.

It's not a myth, exactly. It's just not really a significant effect.

    Celery (per 100g raw):
    Water: 95.4g
    Fiber: 1.6g
    Sugars: 1.8g
    (trace quantities of other substances)

    Grapefruit (per 100g raw):
    Water: 90.5g
    Fiber: 1.1g
    Sugars: 7.3g

    In other words, probably not.

... except that grapefruit is less acidic (see page 67) than the stomach usually is. Eating a grapefruit in the morning may be reasonable nutritional advice, but that explanation doesn't hold up.

There is some phrase like "You are only nine missed meals away from murdering somebody"

For me it's more like one or two.
