I would get one for my mom but the wireless stuff that goes into using a Wii fucks around with people who have DBS as part of their treatment (damn it). I still want one for myself, though.
This has got my interest. What exactly is DBS and how does the Wii's wireless signals interfere?

    I'm loving the yoga.
That seems to be better for the balance than the actual balance games.

I haven't tried the Wii Fit but I had a lot of fun with my nephews playing with the Wii Family Trainer:

YouTube - Family Trainer (Wii) - Trailer

Lots of balance, reaction time, eye-hand coordination and cardio exercises.

On Wii Fit: Here are the thoughts of a US Army MACP instructor.

DCS, thanks for the link to my Blog. Didn't know you guys had a thread on here for Wii Fit. It is good to know that alot of you guys are positive about it as well.

I like Bullshido to keep me straight! To many people out there that will tell you what you want to hear! Hooah!

For 90 Bucks I think it is a good piece of equipment. If you think you are going to get totally fit and all feng shui on it with no other training....well I have a course for you. Just sign my 12 month contract right now! (it includes gloves and a Gi).

Deep Brain Stimulation. Wikipedia has a decent write up on it here.

Considering that once the procedure is completed it is all adjusted wirelessly, I'm not surprised that they don't recommend patients playing around with other wireless devices.

Meh, don't be getting it and thinking it has any softcore porn potential whatsoever. You really don't see her that often and most of time you just hear her talking. Would of it of seriously killed them to have more videos of her doing exercises or even better, the running parts should involve her running and you following from behind.
