Like anything else, Lily. . .you can't skip the basics.
They are the building blocks of your body. And, as
you said, you've improperly built it, for two years!

Don't worry, it's not hard to fix. Just put in the time,
and our bodies tend to respond really well to our
    attempts to balance our selves!

    And, don't forget the jj!
Keeping the muscle usable is the whole point.

    G'luck!

On the opposite side I actually feel like a 'big person' when I hang out with my female friends (who don't train).

I think being over 5'10" makes me feel bigger then I actually am. I dunno, it's hard to say. I fee like I'm normal and everyone else should be measured by my standards. Anyone bigger then me is big and anyone smaller then me is short.

How tall are you, Lily? I'm actually a little self conscious about my shoulder width as I'm only 5'6" but have the same shoulder width as Kat.

I'm 6'4" and I think anyone taller then me is too tall and anyone smaller is short.

Both of you just gave me head spin.

Kid - you look just very slender and petite in your avatar. Are you saying your shoulders are too small/big? I'm the same height as you.

Kat - I like your world view, 5'10" is the dream! :) I tend to feel physically at odds with people whether a group are larger or smaller than me. I often underestimate how big/heavy someone really is which is possibly a good thing in MA as I don't baulk working with people of any size. I think I have a screw missing mentally when it comes to size :/

Anyway, I just wanted to get some suggestions to strengthen/target my shoulders.
