M-Tri Dislocates Elbow when Opponent refuses to Tap

YouTube - Elbow Dislocation from Armbar

this happened a couple years back, but it's definitely one of the more interesting moments I've had in competition.

BJJ might make you a better ground fighter, but Judo will make you a better dancer.

What a fucking idiot!!! He won't be able to wipe his ass for months :eusa_doh:

    Good win mickey!
Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. New: On strenght standards, relationships and structural balance. Shoulder problems? Read this.

My crapuous vlog and my blog of training, stuff and crap. NEW: Me, Mrs. Macho and our newborn baby.

New To Weight Training? Get the StrongLifts 5x5 program and Rippetoe's "Starting Strength, 2nd Ed". Wanna build muscle/gain weight? Check this article. My review on Tactical Nutrition here.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

I don't know, but this was a couple years ago and he was fighting in the 2-5 years (intermediate) division...

I'll try to get the whole match up, but basically what he did was try to throw me with a headlock and phail. I just stayed on top, then latched on to a leg looking for a twister for over a minute while he squeezed me with the headlock... I thought he'd tire out, but he just kept squeezing harder and it was bothering me, so I said **** it and armbarred him.

I even pleaded with the ref to stop the match, but she told me she couldn't because he's an adult and he has to tap. then I was going to switch to a triangle, but the second I loosened up he tried to escape; that's when I lost my sympathy for him.

that being said he was a nice guy. all smiles after the match, even shook my hand with his other arm, and when I apologized he said something like "don't worry, it happens" then ran over to the medics. his arm was badly damaged though.

Wow...this is the one time I've seen someone royally **** up someone's limb, yet remain classy and level headed about it.

You could tell that you were REALLY hesitant to finish the technique, and that the douche didn't think you'd actually do it.

Total class Mikey T! Man, you could clearly see you looking to the ref and asking 'man this guy's done and too stupid to tap'. I think you gave him about 10-15 seconds and he just kept fighting it.

Er wait, just read SuperGuido's, yeah exactly that, er ditto.

Heh, your corner cracked me up.
