You're at a dinner party. You are having a nice conversation with someone who tells you they are a retired General from the US Army. Possible, so you continue to talk. In a bit they tell you they are also a retired General from the Air Force. Now you think this guy is pulling your leg. Then he tells you he is a retired General from the Marine Corp too! You now know this guy is full of ****. As he is trying to tell you he is a retired Admiral of the Navy you are running away.....
Now, as silly and stupid as the above is, when some chowder head claims several high ranks in many different systems, its the EXACT same thing.
All the more so when some dolt in an outlandish gi and belt tells it to you.....
While true, there are those crazy mofos who are legitimate BBs in several systems and you don't wana mess with them. Though those people usually do not rub it in your face that they hold rank in several systems.
i've never heard it put quite so profoundly before.

I don't allow myself the same freedom they have in DHS because I'm merely a purple belt. Keep this in mind before you post in one of MTripp's threads.
Questions or relevant comments are fine. Lecturing one of these guys or making off topic or stupid comments is not.
If anyone has further questions, bring them up here:
Posting in DHS - No BS Martial Arts
rather than sullying Mr. Tripp's thread anymore.
PERFECT ANALOGY! Now, if you can incorporate a fat belly and a mullet into the story...

I have asked Mr. Tripp in a PM if I can move the "Clue" threads to Gitmo. If he agrees, I will undelete all of the deleted posts and you guys can have your fun.
How outragous claims are we talking here? There are people with multiple black belts, especially if they're in styles with shared techniques. Then again, that's a short list and the people on it are pretty well known.
edit: realized this was in DHS and not YMAS, so nvm
edit 2: gitmo!

Black belt isn't the same thing as the equivalent of "General", though. He's speaking of high-dan ranks in multiple arts, which when put this way is wonderfully simple.
