    I second going to a gym only because you probably won't be able to buy a squat rack and Olympic weight set (which is all you really need, hell even a squat rack is not essential).

    Theres more articles on his website about the program. Read them through and don't just browse through them. The youtube section should help you understand all of the exercises as he does them in the program.

    I'm also starting to focus on lifting more so we'll be in the same boat. Hes got good stuff so read it then do it in the gym.
