    No softening up from other shots, no toll being taken from a long fight.

    As an aside, is OP aware that every jab is not the same.....a flicking jab isn't a stiff jab isn't a job starting off a combo.

    And that a jab can be used to gage distance or create distance?

    Agreed that was a perfect example, and yes im aware of the different uses of jabs, I was just curious as to whether or not one could actively attempt a knockout with one.
