Paul Vanuk. Legit or not?

I've searched the forums, and all I could find were a few jokes on the guy. So is he legit, or full of it? He uses the whole street methods of "eye gouging, knee to the groin" and other stuff, but its said he also teaches the US navy seals hand to hand combat???

If possible, give me a link to an earlier investigation on this guy
