Helicopters used by military in Afganistan

My google fu is weak and I'm unable to find the neceesary information about helicopters being used by military in Afganistan. So I was wondering if military folks could help me out here.

My first question is what Helicopters (model and maker) are most in use by military (US and NATO) in Afganistan currently?

Second question is the model and maker from my first question the helicopter most in short supply?

I greatly appreciate any information and thank you for your time.

In summation your argument denotes a lack of intellectual honesty on your part. It is my contention that this matter would best be solved with fisticuffs. I believe I will be victorious in this regard.

The reason is for investment research. Since Afganistan is bigger than Iraq, have much more mountainous terrain, much worse infrastructure (road, bridge, etc.), and due to current shortage of Helicopters...demand for Helicopter and parts will rise. In addition Obama administration and pentagon's plan to increase troop and move some Helicopters to Afgan is already underway.

So I am trying to do some research at the companies that are prime supplier of Helicopters and parts to whether or not to invest in their stocks.

I don't want to be a dumbass and assume that it's going to be BEA, Honey Well, and Boing and look at only those companies.

Honestly I don't know anything about military so I don't know where to start. To show you my lack of military awareness...I had no idea each branch of US military has their own air craft, field, pilots, etc. until recently. Upon till recently I just thought it was like air force providing their pilots and craft embedded with army, navy, etc.

    1. I'd like to know which type and model of Helicopter is in use currently in Afganistan by allied armed forces.

    2. I'd like to know which type and model of Helicopter is most in shortage in Afganistan by allied armed foces.

    3. I'd also greatly appreciate any lesson and knowledge in purpose and use in of Helicopter.

    Thank you for your time!
