    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    folks, this is Igor Kurrinoy:

this is pulled from his instructional CD-ROM series. He's going slow here for video purposes. I've seen him at full speed and its fairly ridiculous. He's just badass, like James T Krk or something.

There are some great transition moves: throws into leg/ankle picks, attempted throws into sweeps, reaps into jumping armbars and etc. Enjoy!

He is so amazingly fluid it hurts my feelings. How many thousands of reps must he have drilled for that one arm seoinage? Or any of those techniques for that matter. Thanks for posting this Serge.

If that's slow, what does fast look like? Who is this Igor fellow anyhow? He's not your average JBJ fan, that's for sure.

BJJ might make you a better ground fighter, but Judo will make you a better dancer.

in this dumbassery-clip, the vid camera loses Corey as he's getting tossed thru the atmosphere:

Igor's been recognized as, arguably, the greatest athelete that the USSR/Russia has produced. He's also a hilarious fukka that likes ice cream, shopping for stupid bullshit toursit crap at Fisherman's Wharf and watching Nogieura fight "Guy has heart"

I get tired of watching him demo how multiple backflips help train suplex throws, and that sort of thing...:viking:

There is a back trip he does from 0:42 to 0:45 that has been in my head for a while now. He pulls it off beautifully. If I come visit you, will you show me how he manipulates the other guy's arm to set up the throw?

I like his flying armbar entries. Some of them are pretty unorthodox by my standards.

Edit: Forgot to mention how fantastic his kuzushi is. His feints that lead to throws in the opposite direction are unbelievably good.

He never seems to be out of position for an attack and he seems to never be flat footed. I wasn't able to find any of his competition or sparring footage on Google Video or YouTube. Serge, do you or Steve have any you could post?

The one where he does a one-legged float-sprawl? The grip is on the lapel like a seio-nage throw but he just skips the arm and steps around to the back corner and does the "Bodok" back-trip.

Its just good stuff, I'd be happy to pass along whatever I can possibly manage to. I haven't seen any YouTube competetion footage. Perhaps we can hit up Igor for some, I haven't figured out how to rip stuff off the CD-ROMs, they have these evil Russian hard-drive crashers for copy-security.

    That guys a badass,

Some of the entries look fairly unorthodox but very slick nontheless.

    Where does he teach/train?
