Decidedly no. The whole point of what I was trying to do was get you over to my side so i could hip up and go to either side or your half guard at worst. The other option is to take the back by going under your posting arm if you give me the space. Although I would like to claim it is a super secret Vandry knee-expolding escape that was totally not its intent. How is the knee now?

OK, this is the same thing that Cathy said. This is only the second time I've been injured out of something like six or seven throwdowns.

Naszir, it's pretty bad today, but like I wrote earlier, I think the second time it popped was when it did the most damage, because it didn't feel to bad after the first time. One thing I was thinking on last night and this morning was that you caught me while I was experimenting with a bit of a different side control technique that I learned from Ralen at the seminar he taught a couple of weeks ago. Obviously, I don't have it quite down just yet. :icon_roll Also, I think I tried to power out of your hook around my ankle by straightening my leg out, so I think I was adding fuel to the fire, so to speak.
