Austin 2008 Bonenkai Spar-BQ
For those of you unfamiliar with Japanese language and culture "bonenkai" translates as "forget the year party." It is traditional for Japanese groups to celebrate both the end of the year (bonenkai) and beginning of the year (shinenkai). Of course, each group one belongs to (work, school, clubs, etc) has its own bonenai and shinenkai, so it is not unusual to spend most of December and January either drunk or hungover.
I just received a response from Cathy regarding December 13.
Dec. 13 looks open. I'll pencil you in. Will confirm later? Take care and hope
to see you soon. -- clc
So, roll call time. Whose coming?
