    My first question would be did the egg eaters also eat badly in other areas, and my (strong) guess would be yes, but my other strong guess is that they didn't capture it. That said, high saturated fat foods including eggs are definetely a risk factor.

    That would be my guess as well. Eggs as a part of a healthy diet shouldn't increase your chances of developing diabetes, but would certainly increase the risk in a diet already high in fat and cholesterol.
    I'm not giving you my opinion, I'm telling you how it is.

    Along those lines, I'm basically curious as to what they didn't control for. The other study I linked did control for obesity, but that's not mentioned in the abstract of the new one. The other study also controlled for other foods... they don't really mention eggs one way or another that I could tell, though.

    Side note: I eat a lot of 99% fat free turkey. 22g of protein per serving for stupidly low amount of fat. It's also a lot cheaper than chicken & beef.
