...apparently you think that we jump naked? You aren't jumping places with no equipment...it doesn't happen. The only time you do jumps like that is when you're in HALO school, and that's only so they can add equipment each jump so you can adjust to the different airflow.

I know you guys jump with equipment (a lot), but I thought that you suggested PK for better body awareness etc. I can tell you that if you are doing it with a anything strapped to you it gets different and sometimes dangerous (if you are used to no backpack, you have to roll different and you can't vault the same due to weight shifts)

I was talking about the landings...not the vaults. You hit the ground fucking hard most of the time, I almost bit through my tongue on my first jump. I wore a mouthguard from that point on. I don't think I've ever had a soft landing

Free-Running/Parkour is not new I was doing that **** when I was a kid. Its not going to help. I land fine its the simple fact that I weight over 200lbs and descend faster than other jumpers. Add Ruck and Weapon for a Combat Jump and it makes it a lot faster. The weather has more of an affect on the landing. Nice hot day; more lift softer landing. Cold days and or rain; less lift harder landing.
